The Destined Change

It has been more than four decades now. Can you imagine? Can any of us imagine?

No.... Right?  But yes, the contentment within still recollects and justifies the thoughts as....

The handsome and pretty faces, their flawless skin, though had gotten some scars on it, yet it did not lose its charm;

The sturdy and sultry figures, though had lost its shape, yet it is strong enough to protect their beloved;

The passion of becoming successful though had dissolved itself in the midst of time, yet contented with the life led;

The desire of a youth to fall in love, though had taken the shape of its own vessel, yet each one of us could relate to the term ‘happily married/single ever after’;

The matured feeling of collywobbles in our tummy on being called ‘Maa/Papa’ for the first time, though had carried with, a lot of responsibilities, yet we excelled in each of them;

The chit-chats and the conversation, the letter writing to each other, though had reduced and forced us to adapt to the world of internet(quite difficult for our generation), yet the feelings did not shrink, but doubled, just by seeing the name on the modern social platforms;

Thus cheers to our friendship, cheers to the life led by each of us and cheers to 1974 batch.

This is for my dad's generation. Love you Baba
