A LIFE OF FOUR YEARS...

Filled with ebullience, we stepped ourselves in the voyage of four years;
A voyage full of muddled experiences, setting ahead
Challenging us to outhrow ourselves;
Welcoming us to embrace it.
1st year:
Disinclined to smile and introduce,
With each second’s thought we breathed;
The air corrupted with the fear of ragging,
The goose bumps cascading through a voice murmuring;
Yet a step ahead took a pinch of fear out;
Realising the worth and experiencing the toughness
Earned us love and devoted respect.

Portrayed to be canny in the field of technology,
But the tough world around made us circumspect our ego;
Thus rose the fear of mechanics, maths and physics
And we were trashed by our feel of amateurish.
2nd year:
Eyes blinking and searching for the dashing and gorgeous ones;
Heart swinging with the arrogance of seniority;
With the feel of being the king or queen of one’s heart
Swayed away by the beauty of ‘love’,
And hypnotized by the fragrance of entertainment.
Bunking being the most important part of the routine,
Ended up with ‘Shortage of Attendance’.
3rd year:
The completion of the partial journey’
Aroused the cognizance of being there;
And the perception of seeing oneself after a couple of years
Hypnotized one to recollect the sight of muddled experiences;
And setting oneself to swirl over it.
4th year:
The clear ultimate field of vision
Made the heart beats echo loud enough;
Made some to show their outrageous talent and some to try for the next option.
Besides, another portrait of crying hearts was visible
Compelling themselves hard enough to bid a good-bye,
And assuring to remember and secretly behold each other in a corner of their life, forever.
This is an engineering student’s life all about.
